Annual Meeting – Save the Date!

The IHSA annual meeting will be held Thursday, September 30th at noon and will include recognition of award winners, election of IHSA board officers, and program celebrations. IHSA will be reaching out requesting a highlight from your last year.


Statewide WAGE$

Iowa AEYC is pleased to announce that WAGE$ will be available to Head Start teaching staff starting July 1. Please continue to send applications, and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions.


Director Invites to Upcoming Board Meetings

In an effort to connect a wider audience to board work, IHSA board meeting zoom links will be provided to directors along with meeting agendas. The meetings are open to anyone and the board hopes you will listen in!

In an effort to keep you connected to colleagues across the state, My Peers is available. The following is the link to information on how to join My Peers. ECLKC also has additional information on MyPeers for support as well.

After joining you will obtain a confirmation from MyPeers it is not automatic.  After you login, it will take you to your Dashboard. At that point you can search for "Iowa" in the Search box located in the header.

and the "Iowa Head Start and Early Head Start Community" will be listed as a search result. 

Click on the title and welcome. You can join/pin this community for ease of location in the future. There are also options to select to be notified when resources are posted.
