TA Facilitated Discussion: Preparing to Reopen Program as COVID-19 Restrictions are Lifted

Join colleagues, Regional Office and TTA staff for a Facilitated Discussion on preparing to reopen your program as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Participants will have the opportunity to hear about current information related to the topics, gain new insight and share ideas with other programs across the state.

Some possible topics for discussion:

  • Facilities – cleaning procedures, food service, partners, 
  • What needs to be done if other agencies have been utilizing your HS/EHS facilities?
  • Planning for the future based on lessons learned from the current situation
  • Home Visiting 
    • How and when to start back up
    • Precautions for staff going into homes
    • Options for direct service
    • Socializations
  • Involving your HSAC and Governing Board/Policy Council 
    • What role do they play in starting back up and moving forwards
  • Mental Health 
    • Families and staff dealing with significant economic impact resulting in lack of resources
    • Other mental health and health impact on children, families, and staff

Who should attend?   

Management team members responsible for effective systems for meeting the needs of those enrolled in Head Start/Early Head Start programs and ensuring standards are met to support the health and well-being of children, families, and staff.
